You’ll be flying on the Boeing 787-10—a member of the Dreamliner family, admired for its advanced technology and comfortable passenger features. An excellent option for long-haul flights!

Click the “Book on Google Flights” button.
You’ll be directed to sample search results on Google Flights. On this page, you’ll find key details about the flight, such as departure and arrival times, duration, layovers, airline, and the aircraft.
In our case, that sample search is for dates in February. For you convenience, most flight options has been already pre-selected:

If these options suit you, simply review the details, then proceed to the next step—choosing the booking site.
💡 In many cases you might need to make some adjustments, particularly with the travel dates. To change your dates, click the ← Google button (top of the page) to open a page where you can modify the flight details.
If you only need to change the currency and language settings, scroll to the bottom of the Google Flights page and select your preferences.
4 — Choose the booking site
Once you’ve confirmed your flight details, you need to decide where to book it.
Google Flights provides you with multiple options. You can book directly on the airline’s website or through a third-party travel agency (OTA). If you prefer flexibility and better customer service, booking directly with the airline might be your best bet.
Click the Continue button next to your preferred option to proceed to the final step.
24-hour cancellation rule
Making a decision on the spot can be challenging, even if you’ve been planning your trip for a while. You’ll likely need time to coordinate schedules, inform your travel partners, request time off from your boss, etc.
If you live in the United States, the Department of Transportation’s 24-hour rule can help. It allows passengers to cancel or hold reservations without penalty, provided the flight is booked directly with an airline at least seven days before departure. If you cancel within 24 hours of booking, you are entitled to a full refund.
Europe does not have a standard 24-hour cancellation rule like the U.S. However, some online travel agencies (OTAs) such as Expedia, Orbitz, eDreams, and Opodo may offer their own 24-hour cancellation policies. These policies can vary significantly based on specific terms and conditions, so it’s essential to read the fine print.
In Australia and New Zealand, general consumer protection laws oversee air travel, not specific aviation regulations, and there is no mandated compensation for cancellations within a 24-hour window. Each airline sets its own policy. Moreover, major OTAs operating in Australasia (Webjet, Flight Centre, Expedia Australia) generally do not provide free 24-hour cancellations as a standard practice.
💡 Tip: Always check the details of your booking to understand what protections are available for your specific itinerary.
In Asia, there is no uniform 24-hour cancellation rule. However, some airlines have adopted similar policies. For example, Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways allow full refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of booking, provided the flight is not departing within a week. Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific offer a 24-hour cancellation option for tickets purchased directly through their website. OTAs may have their own cancellation policies, so you should always review their specific terms.
