easyJet is facing a $72 million lawsuit after abandoning six Airbus A320s in Madrid and Larnaca, citing EU sanctions on the aircraft's lessor. The lessor, STLC Europe Eight, disputes this defense, arguing the planes were outside Russia and it was not sanctioned. The court has yet to rule on the validity of easyJet's termination. An Estonian man exploited Finnair's inflight duty-free system, accumulating €18,000 in goods using five credit cards and false names. A traveler redeemed 32,000 Flying Blue miles for a Delta flight from Athens to New York, only to find no ticket at check-in. Qantas expands 787-9 premium economy, but business class sleeps three hours

Qantas is adding 28 premium economy seats to its 787-9s, offering 38 inches of pitch in a 2-3-2 layout. On shorter overnight flights, lie-flat business class often provides only 3-4 hours of actual sleep. Many corporate policies cap business class eligibility at eight hours, making premium economy the default on these routes. Full story →

Got questions?

A few things people often ask us before joining.

Why can't I just watch fares myself?

Even if you're only watching a few routes you're interested in, you'd need to check them often and continuously - fare drops can appear and vanish within hours. And a handful of routes is limiting: one of the core values of Superdeals is flying cheap to surprising destinations you weren't even searching for. We've built dedicated AI tools for exactly this and keep improving them, so members don't have to watch anything - deals just land as alerts, ready to book.

How is this different from using a travel agent?

Airlines pay travel agents little to nothing on flights these days - commissions have dropped to roughly 0-2% - so most agents now charge a flat service fee per booking instead. That's a cost per trip, every time. ATC membership is also a flat fee, but it covers every trip and every alert for as long as your membership lasts - with Lifetime Membership, that's a one-time payment for permanent access, arguably the best value of all.

There's also a difference in how deals get found. A travel agent searches when you ask, for a trip you already have in mind. We monitor thousands of routes continuously, so Superdeals often surface destinations you weren't even searching for - turning the platform into a discovery tool, not just a booking shortcut.

Why not just use the airline site, or an OTA?

OTAs are pull tools. You search, and they show you what's available right now. Some do offer price alerts, but only for one specific route you already picked and chose to track. They just flag any price change, not whether it's a genuine 40-80% anomaly worth acting on. You'd still need to know which route to watch in the first place - one of the core values of Superdeals is flying cheap to surprising destinations you weren't even searching for. Every deal we surface is also manually checked for good routing, reasonable layovers, and solid aircraft, not just a low number - OTA alerts can't tell you that.

We also never take a booking commission, so unlike OTAs, we have zero incentive to surface anything other than the genuinely best price.

Does Business Class always mean a lie-flat bed?

Not always. Business Class seats can be full lie-flat beds, angled seats, or recliners, depending on the airline and aircraft. Click the flight result on Google Flights and expand it - it shows the seat type and pitch directly in the flight details, no guesswork needed. For extra confidence on a specific aircraft, SeatGuru lets you look up the exact seat map by airline and plane type.
