The Dushanbe–Munich return runs twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with a 00:10 departure from Dushanbe, according to the airline’s service announcement. That announcement also listed a 17:00 Munich departure.
The Munich end has since moved. AeroRoutes reported Munich service changes from August 2026. The current departure is later than the one in the airline’s announcement. The times are asymmetric too: late afternoon from Germany, just after midnight from Tajikistan.
The dates are fixed in advance. That is the constraint that separates this route from a hub connection.
Aircraft and route history
Somon Air launched the Munich–Dushanbe route on 7 June 2022 as a weekly service flown by a Boeing 737-900ER, with a flight time of 6.5 hours. From July 2022, the airline increased it to two flights per week.
The bigger change came on 15 August 2024, when the Dushanbe–Munich leg went nonstop once a week on Saturdays. Until then, the aircraft made a technical stop in Trabzon, Turkey. aeroTELEGRAPH reported the switch and named a Boeing 737 MAX 8 on the route.
The fleet record is less tidy. Wikipedia’s Somon Air fleet listing dates the first Boeing 737 MAX 8 to 27 July 2026, with a second arriving on 12 September 2026. Those dates fall two years after the report that already placed a MAX 8 on the Munich run.
