EVA Air's loyalty scheme is called Infinity MileageLands and sits within the Star Alliance network. Members collect miles from flights flown on EVA Air and its regional affiliate UNI Air, from journeys on other Star Alliance carriers, and from a range of partner hotels, car rental firms and co-branded credit cards. Purchases made outside of air travel, along with occasional promotions, can also add to a balance. At present no transferable points partners are verified, so miles are generally earned and used within the programme's own ecosystem.

Before booking, check the total cost including taxes and carrier surcharges, because these are charged on top of the miles. Keep an eye on expiry, as award miles lapse under the programme's rules, although expired miles can sometimes be reinstated.

Before you pay, check the travel dates, the departure country (sales often apply only to flights leaving from certain markets), the cabin class and fare rules such as baggage, changes, and refunds, and whether the advertised price includes taxes and fees. To judge whether it is genuinely good, compare the final total against recent fares for the same route and dates rather than against the original price shown.
